how can u fly the dodo in gta 3?

u can't actually fly the dodo .. u can only move it like u move the car .. but sometimes when u move at a decent speed it actually lifts off the ground and glides .. lol i tried to take it 2 the garage in the 3rd city but it didn't fit in the garage

its pretty hard. i always tried to go from airport to second city, but i alwayslanded a little short.
