The best free website design program out there is NVU http://www.nvu.com. It's pretty easy to use, though you'll need to know a thing or two about web design before you start. There are plenty of online tutorials around. Some will be better than others. You'll probably manage to figure out how to use NVU fairly quickly so here are a couple of tips.

i) Always call your homepage index.htm or index.html.
ii) Save all your work (pages, images, downloads etc.) in the one folder on your PC. If you want, you can use sub-folders.
iii) When naming files, don't use capital letters or spaces. In other words, instead of My Dog.jpg, call it mydog.jpg or my_dog.jpg.
iv) Don't use graphics hat are too big or unusual fonts. Bear in mind that not everyone who visits your site will have the same fonts you have on your PC. Stick to standard ones like Times New Roman, Arial etc.

You'll need to get web space as well. If you dial up to the internet from home, your ISP might supply you with space. This is the ideal because it won't have advertising on it. If you go with freebie web providers like fortunecity.com, batcave.net etc. your site will have advertising on them.

The best way to upload your site to the net is with an FTP program. A good freeware one is Filezilla. Your webspace provider will have the FTP settings needed to upload files this way.

When you upload a website to the net, you're replicating online what's on your computer.

Some webspace providers (e.g. geocities.com) don't allow free users to FTP their websites to the internet. For these, they have a means of uploading the data via your browser. This can be very tedious, especially if you used sub-folders or you have a lot of files.

Well, there are several courses you can look at online to help you to learn about html. www.draac.com is an easy to follow step by step one that can be done at your own pace. Or you could try a page like http://www.w3schools.com/default.asp to assist you. It wouldnt hurt for you to download and html editor, so you can play with it to see how the pages would look. And after you figure out how to make pages, then you need to find a server to host your page. I do not recoomend geocities, for two reason...the ads And for the most part you are working with templates, and it teaches you very little about how to make a real page. There are several free hosting sites out there....but first you need to learn how to use html.

Install any HTML editor such as Dreamweaver or Frontpage.
Then open it, create page and go ahead.

Install Microsoft Visual Studio if your page is ASP.
Also you can refer to yahoo.geocities to build your web page.

there are many easy ways to do that,

- Geocities.com website builder.....
- freewebs.com Online web builder....
- same other websites, search on google for online web page builder....
