I was in a relationship with someone for 5 years, we had some sort of communication everyday for that 5 years. We recently broke up and there is another woman envolved in the break up. How long do, if ever do you think it will take this man to try to get back in touch with me? We used to talk about everything, and nothing, just spoke in some way everyday, even when we were mad at each other.

I have been in a very similar situation, and I never got a call back. The best you can do is move on right now and keep moving forward in your life. If he calls you, he calls you and then you can deal with that then. In the mean time, live your life like he never will and go out and get what you want in life. :) Life is short, don't waste any of it waiting around for a call and a man that may never come back around. If they do, great, but don't wait for them, because if they don't, at one point or another, you'll have to wake up one day and face the fact that you didn't do anything with your life while waiting. I wish you the best! :) I decided to move on, and have never regretted it for a minute, yes, the loss almost killed me at first, but each day gets easier. :)

I would play hard to get, dont call him, email him or anything. If he doesnt get in touch with you, let him go (and if he does get in touch with you, would you even want him back???). Find someone who is there for you and doesnt come and go. Make yourself happy, then you wont need him. Five years is a long time to be in a relationship with no commitment. Let the other woman deal with him and she will most likely be in your shoes in five years as well. Life is too short to waste it on waiting for a man to come back around! Move on and find happiness without him!

If another woman is in the picture, I would not wait on a call. He might never! I know that might hurt, and I don't mean it ugly, but there is a good possibility that that's what is going to happen. If you can, move on. He already has!

If he is with another woman I can tell you he won't contact you at all as long as she is in the picture. Why would you want to contact him anyway. Get a life and move on.

I realize that you have probably grown an attachment to this man but right now, you should try to be independent. You need to stop depending on him as a shoulder to cry on...especially if he's the one who drew those tears.

I wouldn't hold my breath on this one.
Maybe he would, maybe he wouldn't. There's no way of predicting this. But I wouldn't just wait around and wonder because he may NEVER come back.
Move on. It would be the best thing for your health.

Call him and tell him that you miss talking to him. Maybe arrange to go out for lunch or something together.
