this idea of being politically correct...its getting out of hand. People need to get over it and realize the world doesn't revolve around them.

The greatest problem in American society, not only for women, but for all of us, is the distancing of families. Families use to be very close....lived in the same town or area and saw each other often. This provided the close nit family required to make this a great nation. But today we are not only not in the same area we are often not close period.

I believe it began with the invention of television. We use to find ways to entertain ourselves that involved being with others, played games, sat and talked, and perhaps now and then listened to the radio.

Today, television is only one of many distractions we have. The telephone, computers, cell phones, and all the other communication devices were designed to bring us together even when we could not be. However what it has done has given us more of an excuse to stay in our house and not go visit. We often talk to people around the world, who we will never see, much more than our next door neighbor.

I believe we are farther apart as a society than we have ever been. When the laws made in this country come from the minority willing to push for them something is wrong.....very wrong. And the people we elect do not seem to have the moral guidance this country was founded on.

I remember reading the book '1984' and because it was somewhere in the future it seemed to be science fiction. Very hard to believe at that time that it could ever come true, at least in the United States. We are as close to that reality today as we have ever been and it had better not get worse for our problems today are but minor gusts of wind compared to the horrific storm it would bring.

Women have two major issues in society right now.

The first is that traditional roles have been stripped for men and women over the last 30 years, so no one knows how to act. Women have been empowered by the women's rights movement but do not know how to use that power gracefully and so they continue to pull the victim card.

The second is that the internet (and again the women's rights movement) has given the world pornography and the jackrabbit. Women feel empowered to do what they will and men have expectations of women acting like porn stars.

To sum up: women have demanded a better place in society and the right to their own bodies. They've gotten that right and have abused it by falling slave to whore fashion and sex manipulation. In time, women will mature into their more responsible roles; it just had not happened yet.

I hate this new being a tramp is cool now, and the fact that women have 3 choices in their professional careers these days get a real job, get married, or just be a waste of life, using their body as a way to attract rich guys and people who will pay their bills for them. It really makes us all look bad and I am sick of it.

Lack of responsibility....

Inability to utilize natural resources responsibly...Inability to consider the effects of one's actions...Inability to agree on the best decision for the common good...

Once it is gone, it is gone...You can't go out and buy more.
