I have this huge collection of mardi gras doubloons that date back to the 1960's. I want to find out how much they are worth.

I am not a collector of this item, but do know there is a price guide out there some place. Going through some back issues of my coin magazines, I can't find anyone buying or selling them at this time. They have been listed before in their ads sections. Maybe a search through Google or Yahoo many help. There just may be a collectors group of this item in Yahoo Groups. Good luck.

Yes, I have collected them for many years and inherited my Mom's collection too. I have a rare actual gold Bacchus doubloon. Someone in the Bacchus crew gave it to my Mom. It's beautiful! I also have many sets which are one of each color of the same year. My kids argue about who will inherit them from me. LOL
