does anyone know how to write a short essay?

I am looking for some help with a 700 short word essay. I am writing about my dog who likes to get up on the bed and roll over on his back. He then starts kicking his feet in the air like a horse that gallops. Need help.

Um... an essay has a thesis statement and argues a point through logic. You are writing a REPORT about a not particularly interesting stupid pet trick. Find a new topic.

Start with an introductory paragraph and in the last sentence, state 3 things you want to write about with you dog. That's called a thesis.

Then create a paragraph for each of the three things you want to say about your dog. Only talk about one thing at a time per paragraph.

Sum up and restate your thesis in the conclusion.

5 paragraphs only...short and sweet.

Could start like this:

Introduction:
Dogs are man's best friend. Dogs have unique characteristics that make them sociable to humans. (elaborate more about the general nature of dogs) In my case, my dog has several unique characteristics such as rolling over, kicking his feet like a horse, and playing on the bed. (there are your three topics for the next paragraphs in the last sentence and is what is called a thesis statement)

Paragraph two:

Talk about the dog rolling over

Paragraph three:

Talk about the dog kicking his feet

Paragraph 4:

Talk about how he likes to play on the bed

Paragraph 5

In conclusion, my dog has several unique characteristics such as rolling over, kicking his feet like a horse, and playing on the bed. (restating thesis)

And add a few more sentences to sum it all up.

Are you writing to this to be chosen for something. "i'm interested in volunteering because volunteering provides me a experience of feat....." ^ i imagine almost 1/2 of the different short responses would start up an same way. i'd try something else.

u cant write that much about a topic like that. try to rite about other things about ur dog like how u tried to teach him tricks or something.
