The Canucks are more on a hot streak than being a good team. I truly believe that the Canucks will never win with Markus Naslund as captain. He is a weak leader and does nothing to inspire his teammates. He was named captain simply because he "was the only reasnonable choice". The Canucks also lack offensive firepower. They cannot seriously rely on the Sedin twins, subpar performances from Brendan Morrison, and Naslund and still believe they are contenders. The Canucks should trade Naslund for prospects, and rebuild with a focus on speed and skill. Their defense first style may get them in the playoffs, but someone needs to tell Alain Vigneault that this is 2007, not 1997. He current style of hockey is what got him fired from Montreal in the first place. BTW, The Canucks should strip Naslund of the captaincy and give it to Trever Linden.

The defensive-minded style under Vigneault is working, and Luongo gives the team a chance to win every night. But they will need guys like Naslund and Morrison to pick up the scoring in the 2nd half to continue their success.

well i live in b.c and i cannot stand the cannucks. their crap is everywhere, even in my house !! i think and hope they will fail this year, like they did last year. i am an oilers fan and they will rule.
