so im so confused. my last period was the 2nd of november, on dec 12th i had extrememly light bleeding (it only showed very lt pink on the tissue for a few hours) barely any cramps at all. no "symptoms" except im so tired all the time. still no period. took a test the 23rd of dec. and this morning both negative. im not stressed out about anything (my life is really relaxed lol) im not undereating, no plane rides, not working out, nothing out of the oridinary is going on for me. im not trying to get pg. but im not not trying (btw i am engaged! so im not some dumb teenager). i doubt its wishful thinking cuz i wasnt wishing for one (id be happy either way) but i just dont know what else is going on and im getting frustrated! lol. im probably going to go to the dr. today i just wanted other womens opinions on what this could be.

The most likely thing is that you simply had an anovulatory cycle during the month of november and that's why you had the light spotting around the time of your period. Ovulation triggers your period is if you don't ovulate the lining of the uterus can't build up thick enough and you only have a little spotting or nothing at all. It is estimated that the average woman has at least 1 anovulatory cycle every 10-12 cycles so it's totally normal. I doubt you are pregnant--home tests are very very accurate. You have 2 choices, go to the dr. and get medicine, probably Provera or Prometrium, to induce a period or wait it out. If your cycles are generally pretty regular then you will almost definantly ovulate and have a cycle very soon.

You say youre tired, it could be that you have a virus thats not yet affected you and making you tired, that could be the reason why your periods have gone funny. Or that you've changed your diet in some way?
Sometimes there's no reason for it, it's just 1 of those things. If the they still haven't came by monday, i'd go see the doctor, at least they'll put your mind at rest. By the way, all this stressing about it won't help either!

I would get a blood test. I took the home one also and it was negative. The light bleeding could have been the embryo attaching to the uterus which is totally normal. Best of luck to you

If I were you I'd decide not to worry about it till the doctor tells you either way, because there's just no way to know. Everyone is so different, and periods can be put out of whack so easily, and every pregnancy is so different. It sounds to me like you're pregnant, but that means nothing.
