why doesn't everyone who disagrees with this law put a lit up nativity scene in their windows this Christmas with merry Christmas banners in the garden and see what happens.

I would remove my child from school on the grounds that he was discriminated against by not being allowed to carry out an age old christian tradition,

All you legal eagles out there is it not a law by deserunt? to hold the play.

The problem is now you have raised the question the Political Correct Police think you are a racist. Who are the people behind political correctness? We know that Blair put together some cronies and said EU directives we must look like good boys and girls so I get a good job like Kinock did when he was put out to grass. The left wing think tank decided that we should all be told what we can do what we cant do and what the penalty will be if we do not agree. Political Correctness has caused more racial tension than the BNP could ever do. It has divided our country on religious and moral grounds and made Lawyers like Mrs Blair very rich. If we do not take our history , our country and our morals back we may just as well shut down. How can it be that all that has been wrong for years is now right. I am a christian and I am disgusted by the way my church is now treated by this government. I do not believe same sex couples should;d be allowed to adopt. They can live together I have no problem with that. Marriage is for a man and women. Two men or two women cannot have children so why should they marry. Kids fall over everyday in playgrounds its part of growing up leave them alone. You are right if you went to many other countries and tried to fulfil the lives the Political Correct mafia in this country want us to you would be dead.

You are absolutely right! Political correctness is a menace! For centuries Britain has been a beacon of liberty of thought, belief and speech, but now the freedom of its intellectual and political life is being subjected to a subtle form of 'censorship!!!.
The Retreat of Reason that political correctness, which classifies certain groups of people as victims in need of protection from criticism and allows no dissent to be expressed, is poisoning the wells of debate in modern Britain.
Members of the public, academics, journalists and politicians are afraid of thinking certain thoughts. Political correctness started in academia, but it now dominates schools, hospitals, local authorities, the civil service, the media, companies, the police and the army. Since 1997 Britain has been ruled by political correctness for the first time.
****The Labour government was the first UK government not to stand up to political correctness, but to try and enact its dictates when they are not too electorally unpopular or seriously mugged by reality, and even sometimes when they are****!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Political correctness is a 'heresy of liberalism' under which a reliance on reason has been replaced with a reliance on the emotional appeal of an argument. Adopting certain positions makes the politically correct feel virtuous, even more so when they are preventing the expression of an opinion that conflicts with their own: 'political correctness is the dictatorship of virtue'.!
Whether an argument is true or not is a secondary consideration to whether it fits with the PC view of the world:
In the topsy-turvy politically correct world, truth comes in two forms: the politically correct, and the factually correct. The politically correct truth is publicly proclaimed correct by politicians, celebrities and the BBC even if it is wrong, while the factually correct truth is publicly condemned as wrong even when it is right. Factually correct truths suffer the disadvantage that they don't have to be shown to be wrong, merely stated that they are politically incorrect. To the politically correct, truth is no defence; to the politically incorrect, truth is the ultimate defence.

Political correctness is a complete slap in the face to freedom of speech. It's the thought police run a muck. I'm so glad that there are still people who realize that it's a bad thing. The communists were great at political correctness (no opposing views or thoughts), just a bunch of mindless robots who all act and think alike. You are not a racist for not liking political correctness.

I totally agree with you Becki. What I don't understand is that England has a state religion: The Church of England. There are bishops in the House of Lords. Why is Christianity being suppressed when the government and the church are supposedly connected? I can sort of see how the problem started in America because we don't have a state religion, but I don't understand it there in England. This business of not offending people of other religions is nonsense.

Britain is still (allegedly) 91% white, anglo-saxon & protestant.

So for me Christmas is bloody Christmas and its not Winterval, The Holiday or any such bollox.

I dont mind the Muslims building a Mosque, but when the dippy idiotic liberal scum start insisting that Christian values must be suppressed, hidden, or not treated as mainstream then I just want to grab a gun & start executing any PC scum I find.

I totally agree, if i went to a country in Asia, i couldn't wear what i want the wear, I'd have to wear what they all wear, that would be a white dress, just like the one's all the guy's wear, I'd have to follow their belief's, i couldn't practice my own beliefs in their country's, oh, it's OK for someone like Abu Hamza to come here and preach terrorism, and give praise to the 9/11 hijackers in which Britons were also killed and yet he was still free to go around shouting praise in Finsbury park!, that would be like me going to Israel and praising Hezbollah, -what the you think would happen? could i carry on preaching it, or would i get shot? the latter would happen. There's no freedom of speech for British inbreds, but Muslims can come here and say what they like, what the hell's wrong with this country.

Liberals in the USA love political correctness and it certainly plays right into the hands of the terroists. Racial diversity also causes some problems because it is abused and used for self serving interests in both countries. Somewhere and somehow common sense has got to come to the forefront.
