There are two kinds of stuff: Deodorant and antipersirant. Deodorant allows the release of perspiration, but prevents odor by combating it with antiseptic agents, which kill odor-causing bacteria. Antiperspirants contain fragrance, but they also contain chemical compounds that block the pores to stop the discharge of perspiration. No sweat, no odor.

Deoderant does work! My brother is one of those people who doesn't do anything just sits around and sweats. But he puts deoderant on everyday and smells GREAT when he walks out side to get some fresh air. lol! Yes it does stop the smell from the pits! P.s Don't wear sprayon they stink!
