As a former tarot reader, I can tell you that anyone charging money should be immediately suspect. Also if you are going to a site, then it should also be suspect.

Why this is true of both is for the same reason, and that is that there is a high probability that they will be using math. Straight math, and nothing else.

The circles I've travelled in without exception refused to charge for a reading. The reasons for this are numerous which I won't go into here, but I wil tell you that the best tarot readers don't *only* go by the card ranks & positions. They also use their own spiritual senses to interpret what the cards are revealing.

Also, it is up to the Querant to apply the content of the reading in their own experience.

Very rarely, the cards will be direct & specific, stating something that cannot be misunderstood. Expect, though, that what is told through them will be vague, and even whimsical most of the time.

This is just card reading (one type).

There are other ways of peeking into the past/present/future, and choosing both method & guide is best left to you.

Your insinct & intuition will usually tell you if someone is authentic or not. Have you ever just known that the person you are alking to is somehow special, but you can't describe how? It is this guidance that is best followed, barring other gross misconduct of course.

Now... with all of that said, if you are still curious about a 'site' to fulfill your needs, then I suggest tarot.com. You can use their card spreads, and read the textbook meanings in the cards, based on rank & position yourself.

That way you cut out the middle-man so to speak, and get as actively involved in your reading as possible. Remember, if you don't influence the reading, then it isn't your reading.

You can try it as a guest, and it is free to join.

Still, I highly recommend becoming acquainted with an actual card reader, or rune reader, or whatever, in order to achieve the most useful & rewarding experience possible.

Feel free to e-mail me with any questions. If I don't know the answers, I will try to help you find them.

Good luck.
