I'm not a vet, but my father is a Vietnam vet and a liberal. My grandfather served in WWII and was staunchly left-wing.

I am a Vietnam veteran and a Democrat.
I used to be Republican, but they kept calling and spamming me and I got fed up.
I really hate spammers and telephone solicitors.

your question can't be answered. anyone can claim to be a vet(or anything else) on the internet, but they can never prove they are what they say they are. that is what makes their claims irrelevant.
