'Masculinists'?? That's pretty funny.

See, there's a reason feminism exists. It exists because for the last few thousand years, women have been relegated to a secondary role in society. Only recently have they even been able to vote, get higher education and gain full access to the workplace and government. Feminism addresses these inequalities and seeks to establish equality for women.

Men however have NEVER been subject to this kind of treatment. For all those thousands of years, men have pretty much been in charge of everything. We were basically the only ones allowed to rule, vote, become educated, write, build, etc. Thus the society ALREADY IS male-oriented, and we really don't need to be 'masculinist' in order to protect or defend our rights.

You're sounding just a tad paranoid.

I am a feminist and I believe that all people have the right to express their opinion as long as it is not hateful towards another group. When I see men talking about women like they are unintelligent, manipulative, lazy, sexual toys, etc. I become annoyed. Nobody has the right to judge another based on ability, race, culture, sex, age etc. The world would be much better if people could put the differences aside and work cooperatively.

Because the masculinists try to silence the feminists in real life :-).

they arent determined to silence them but to change their chauvanist views
because it is wrong and not socially acceptable to disrespect the capability of women
of course we cant stand crude and chauvanist remarks against us
it is only natural and makes sense
i could pose to you the question: why are men so apt to critisize and silence feminists who express their views...that is more like it.

I'm glad you said "some" feminist.
It's probably because they are angry or honestly don't get what your saying.
I'm sure I've snapped at someone for when they've said or sounded sexist.

peace.
