That year of Chevy is apparently notorious for this electrical short problem. It is in the rear tailight grounding out somewhere. The wires and fixture become corroded over time and then boom, you got a problem.

should just be the tail lights. you may have a bare spot on the wire, but you can get a manual for that vehicle at an auto supply and check the wiring diagrams to be sure. also, check under the vehicle for a plug connector about half way back. if it comes loose, the lights won't work. you may also have a disconnected wire at the rear under the or inside of the truck area.

you've were given a short contained in the wiring someplace. it would want to bew everywhere alongside the wires. i might want to first verify out to verify that both gadgets are on a similar circuit (fuse) i might want to next look on the wiring for the tail lighting fixtures alongside the length. (in all likelihood abraision close to the front of the mattress and the lower back of the cab.) i might want to then look on the area close to the rear axle and bypass to the basic boxes for the tail basic assemblies. remember the registration number plate basic. If that would not fint the undesirable position, youll ought to take it to a mechanic or an vehicle electrician. everywhere the line can rub hostile to a metallic piece will finally reason the insulation to placed on away and reason a floor.
