I think that they all should be burned alive for even trying. I've noticed that if one of them so much as wears a black t-shirt, they're getting away with 'rock' music. Who the f*** could be dumb enough to put them in that category? Ashlee Simpson should be shot, too. She's also classified as 'rock', because she plays with a band, and occasionaly wears Converse shoes.
But if preppy teenage girls want to listen to them, their choice.

I agree! The only reason they are allowed, are the following:

a) they are already famous for some reason or another
b) some poor mug needs someone to sing their god awful song so they pick someone who is already famous
c) they apparently have "the look"

Unfortunately there is a market called "pop" which is where idiots with the right look are allowed to gyrate around on our screens singing some god awful song with an even cheesier dance routine that is aimed at our poor youth. Its tragic!

I, personally, think they shouldn't, but some weird prep poseur freaks (Sorry for the label, but I thought it is neccesary) may think they're amazing, so yes, they should be allowed to bring songs out. Whether they earn money off of that depends on whether people like them or not.

Yeah, they have no talent whatsoever.

Especially Paris Hilton. She sounds like a cat being strangled.

As much as I hate songs by such people, I don't think they should be prohibited from releasing such records. Manafactured pop music has been since the 50s, pretty much since popular music has existed. The way I see it having such vast amounts of poor quality music only makes it more refreshing to hear truly talented musicians. This is, of course, only my humble opinion.

WellI thik they could be aloud to try. . .but because their talent isn't so, uh, strong then they should make way for the more talented. Just because they are actors, and pretty, shouldn't get them an automatic in in the music buisness.

Me! Their songs are totally generic and... ewww! There like pop mixed with crap mixed with grossness. But, there is ONE reason why they should bring songs out! Because, it's fun to laugh at them while their song is playing on the radio!

Me - but they already have, so we've already been exposed to their cheap rubbish. They sound like the winners of Pop Idol & X-Factor.

I wholly agree, they should not be allowed to bring out songs...
Just because they are celebrities they do not have right to make ears bleed!
