Blind, because society accepts blindness and makes concessions for it, but society despises fat people in general and does little more than make fun of them. Jay Leno would be out of a job if he couldn't make fun of fat people. If I were BORN 400 pounds to begin with (a logicstical impossibility but I'll play along), I'd probably be 600 by the time I was hitting my teens and even remotely old enough to begin thinking about trying to lose weight and undertanding how to do it. I can't imagine anyone who has never had to lose more than 15, 20 pounds thinking they'd just "lose the weight". Losing 300 pounds would be a hellish nightmare that would leave you with acres of skin hanging off your skeleton in folds.... it isn't like losing 10 or 20 pounds. So then, I'd be left with thousands of $$ in reconstructive surgery to remove all that loose skin that will NEVER shrink back, and that's assumming my 13 year old self had the mind blowing will power to lose 300 pounds (assumming I'd not reached 500 or 600 by the time I wa 13) in the first place while being taunted and teased mercillessly by every kid in town until I finally caved to depression and put a bullet in my brain.
Blind people get jobs, married, and lead normal lives. They adapt, and if you were blind from birth, it's not like you'd know any different. Sometimes you see things better when you cannot see them at all.
Now all the overweight people will thumbs me down.

400lbs. Because i could loose the weight and have plastic surgery to have the extra skin and re contouring done. There is not to much you can do about being blind. You loose so much when your blind that you can never get back.

First of all you CAN"T be 400lbs when you're first born. Its IMPOSSIBLE. but if i had to choose i would choose being 400lbs because you could loose all of that fat eventrually. And being blind isnt something you cure without some special glasses or something like that but you can loose weight.

400lbs- because I could lose that weight over time.
Being blind would almost certainly be permanent and I don't like that idea. Although I guess if I was born with it I would never have known different. But I'd be happy to lose the weight.

Ouch, a 400 pound baby ! Sorry, but your question does'nt make alot of sense to me. An over-weight person can usually lose weight. But a blind person cannot correct their blindness. There's a hidden reason for your question, and I don't know what it is.

I would choose 400 pds, my poor mom. Weight is never permanet. Your blindness can be. I would lose weight over time.
