Hiroshima and Nagasaki !

While in the Navy in 1961 I was in a port city just south of Hiroshima. We ran across a museum that looked interesting so a friend and I went in. It was a memorial of those bombings with pictures of the cities just after the bombing.

While the Japanese that were in the museum with us seemed to take no notice, being in a US military uniform less that 20 years after the event made it far more memorable for me.

I doubt we would have been so understanding which for me speaks very well for them.
