Go to Magic Kingdom first! Then MGM, Epcot and Animal Kingdom. That what we're doing, mainly because you find more Disney Magic in MK than anywhere else. Our second favourite is MGM.
If you stay on property go to the park that's doing the Extra Magic Hours, it'll give you 1-3 hours more in the park. If you're off property avoid the EMH parks as they may be a little crowdier. But you should be ok at this time of year :)
We're going soon too, and hope you'll have a fantasmic time!!

I'll also add the warning that it will be very crowded. That's the busiest time of the year at Disney. Be sure to arrive at the parks before opening, or you may miss out on entering due to the parks reaching capacity. If you leave and try to come back later, you may also be denied re-entry for the same reason. Good rides/attractions: *Magic Kingdom: It's a Small World, Carousel, Jungle Cruise, Dumbo *EPCOT: Nemo *Animal Kingdom: safari (it might be hard for him to see the animals though), Boneyard playground, Nemo show *Hollywood Studios: Playhouse Disney If you have a stroller that's easy to fold and carry, bring it and save yourself some money. If it's big and bulky, it will be a pain on the buses. And you should take the buses - you'll get out of the parks so much faster that time of year. Yes, he can eat off your plates. You can make dining reservations for character and other sit-down meals 6 months before you check in. Do it that very day, because they book up quickly for that week. Most character meals do not use up 2 meal credits - only a very few do. He'd probably enjoy Chef Mickey's at Contemporary and the Pooh meal at Crystal Palace. I'd advise viewing the daytime parades and skipping out ahead of the late parades and fireworks. It is madness afterward, especially that week. If you aren't super concerned with money, I'd recommend at least a Moderate resort. The bus situation is usually easier at those, and you have more dining options and amenities. If you stay at a Value resort, avoid the All-Stars because they share buses. Pop Century is nice, and the new Art of Animation looks to be really nice too.

Since you're staying on Disney property, check to see if Disney is running it's Extra Magic Hours program while you're there. This program allows guests staying on Disney property to get into a select park every day one hour before everyone else is admitted, which means you'll get to see certain attractions with little to no waiting. If EMHs is running during your visit, visit the park that will let you in early your first day. If not, then my favorite Disney guidebook recommends seeing Epcot first, then Animal Kingdom, then MGM Studios, and finishing with the Magic Kingdom.
Have a terrific time. I love Disney!

well.. depends on what you prefer. I think that Magic Kingdom is good to go to on your first real day in Disney since it's the main highlight of Disney. You should also definetely head to a Character Breakfast at the Crystal Palace first. You need reservations but its a delicious breakfast buffet and you can also meet Winnie the Pooh characters. Then after you can spend the day there all happy and satasfied. I always loved it.
I wouldnt recommend Animal Kingdom on the first day tho. It gets hott and bores you quite easily. If your into more of the rides and Disney experience, stop by there towards the end of the week.
Also Epcot is really fun to explore on maybe your first night in Disney. That's what I did because it's amazing to see all the awesome things there.

I like Epcot the best. The Magic Kingdom needs 2 days - I would break them up though. The Animal Kingdom is cool, but it only takes a day at the most - plan something else for that day too, maybe the character breakfast at the Prime Meridion.
HAVE FUN!

Go to the Magic Kingdom first. My family and I are frequent visitors and love all of the parks, but always seem to end up at the Magic Kingdom. I can't wait to see what they have done to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. I hear it is pretty cool. After that, it depends on what you want to see. Don't miss MGM and the tower of terror, and Aerosmith coaster. Also, make sure to go on Test track in Epcot. Those are our favorites.

My advice would be to make a plan based on the day you are going not what the "best" park is. Certain parks have more people on certain days, for example the Magic Kingdom is very crowded on Saturdays. I would also suggest a vacation guide (there are both official and non-official guides). You can usually check them out at a local library or purchase one at a bookstore.
Here are some websites both official and non-official you can check out to plan your vacation.
Have a magical vacation!

i would hit the smallest park first, which honestly...would be either animal kingdom or MGM. i would visit animal kingdom first though especially if your hitting it in the morning. MGM would be good later in the afternoon where you can relax and watch things such as Beauty and the Beast. i would hit magic kingdom last. it will take 2 days at least. i only got the chance to have one day in magic kindgom and animal kingdom combined. Epcot is beautiful but try to go there at night. it's even better. eat dinner there and enjoy yourself. i didn't see as much this year. Have fun and good luck!

don't go to mgm it's not worth it. Epcot gives you the most for your money. When visiting Epcot start in back with the countries and work your way to the front that way you will have shorter lines.WDW is ok but more for little kids.No matter what park you go to food and drink will cost you a bundle and you can't bring your own.
