We had everyone bring a baby picture & passed them around to guess who was who. We had everyone "predict" the date the baby would be born & how much he/she would weigh. We had everyone write down a piece of parenting advice for the new mom on an index card. We had scrambled words that were baby related & had people unscramble them. HAVE FUN!

For my baby shower last year the girls at work took me out to dinner and had games on paper. Like writing as many things as you can that go with a baby, (i.e. crib, bottles, etc.), or taking 20 words that go with a baby and mixing the letters around and you have to guess what they are. Or you can put mommy and baby animal names on two seperate sides of the paper and match the two,(i.e. dog: puppy; cow: calf; seal; pup). But you only have a minute to do these and the rest of the time you socialize and have a good time eating and opening presents. We were there about two hours and we had a great time. Also another thing that is fun is to have all the guest write down what the baby should be named for the mommy-to-be so she can read them later.

Just had 1 in October..
.Buy small gold safety pins. Pour a box of rice into large container and add about half the pkg of safety pins. Blind fold guest or have them close their eyes. Person who finds the most pins, wins.
Word scramble with baby items. crib = ribc and etc.

Have a tray with baby items on it. Pass it around for everyone to look at.Take it away and have guest write down what is on tray.

Have the new mother leave the room. Then have guest write down what she had on.

Fold napkins into diaper shape and secure with small pins. In the middle of one, mark it with something. I just used melted chocolate. A very small amount. Person who gets it wins.

Make a diaper cake for a center piece. You can look on line for ideas. Everyone loved this idea. Was really cute & useful too.
Have everyone who wants to participate bring a pkg of diapers or wipes. For this group for an extra gift I made up a really nice gift basket for their prize. Gave them a ticket as they came in the door.Served cake, chocolate dipped strawberries, and watermelon fruit bowl shaped like a baby carriage, punch. Hope this helped.
