To see a transsexual in your dream, indicates that the masculine and feminine aspects of your Self has been damaged. You may be unwilling to confront your shadow self.

I had a dream that a transsexual was following me down the street when I was trying to get home. I didn't care until a police officer started chasing her/him, so i started running.

Unacceptability of female role, such as motherhood, housewife.
Old dream interpretation books say that dreaming about police is an indication that you will obtain unexpected assistance with a current problem.

Ignore any type of dream interpretation. The objects and people in dreams are created based on your own ideas of what things mean. For example: Someone being chased by a police officer in a dream may be feeling guilty for doing something bad. Another person that has that dream may feel like they're being victimized by someone because where they come from the police are very corrupt. The only person that can figure it out is you based on your ideas of what those symbols in your dream mean to you.

If that's what someone gave you as an interpretation, I think they are full of it. There is not enough info about the dream for me to interpret otherwise I would try) such as where it was, who was there, time of day, surroundings, etc.
