I ve got two PCs, One is in my room and another is in my brothers, recently we purchased 2 of a linksys product which is one: - a Linksys wireless - G broadband router with speedbooster 2.4 GHz, 802.11g, with 125 signal rate. and 2:- wireless USB Network Adapter with speedbooster with the same specification as above.

for some reason after i install the device (broadband router) the PC in my room is not performing very well, the internet speed is so slow eventhough right now i am with blueyonder 4mb broadband.so i disconnect the broadband router from my PC, and the internet speed back to normal. I ve try it twice but it gave the same result, with the router installed, the internet speed is becoming so slow and it took more than 15 second just to load a page. but without it my PC back to its normal performance, what should I do?
Forgot to mention, My PC is being connected to the internet via ethernet lead to the broadband router, while my brothers is via the USB network Adapter

You may have an incorrect driver (unlikely if it came shipped with the installer cd). To make sure that this is not the case [I assume you've got WINdows XP], right-click "My Computer" -> "Manage" -> "Device Manager". If any of the drivers are missing/not working properly, then there will be a yellow question mark next to the device.

If devices appear correctly, then call the support number! After 2 hours they will help ya!

I'm going to guess that it's searching one network before another. Have you rebooted your pc?

from the command line, or the start / run menu, try typing:

ipconfig /release *

And after it returns

ipconfig /renew

Also, does your PC have a wireless on it? I wonder if it's picking up both hardwired and wireless, and trying to sort between them.
