Maybe you should have thought about that before you opened your legs! And FYI, your cute little abbreviation of 16teen would actually mean "sixteen teen." Do yourself and your baby a favor and give it up for adoption to someone who knows how to read and write. You're way too young and stupid to take care of yourself, let alone a child.

You are on the right track. You are young, but on the right track. Everyone makes mistakes and no one is perfect. Perhaps, maybe one day, you will finish school??
It is normal for every women, no matter the age, to fear about labor or delivery.
Dying from delivering a baby is not likely to happen. I think you are just a bundle of nerves right now. You will do just fine. If you have any questions as to what to expect during delivery you should find a website or ask your doctor.

My sister- in law had her son at 16 and she is fine. Although it may be scary for you, hospitals are prepared for just about anything. The chances of anyone dying during child birth anymore is very low. If your pelvis is still too small for the head than they will recommend a c-section. Just make sure you have a good OBGYN and a good support group. Being pregnant at any age isn't easy! I'm 33 weeks pregnant right now, and 24 years old and I don't find anything about being pregnant easy. I'm married and have been with my husband for almost 6 years, this is our first child and I'm scared too. I'm pretty sure that it's normal to be anxious, nervous and apprehensive about giving birth and becoming a mother. I'm right there with you, and I only have about 7 weeks to go unless he decides to come early :) Good Luck and Congratulations. :)

hiya hunni, I'm having my 5th baby and i also fear death through child birth but after speaking to my midwife i found that the risks are very slim nowadays and most women feel this sense of fear.
you may find being your 1st baby its more a fear of the unknown.
i have friends and relatives who had babies in there 15s/16s and they were just fine,
as long as your fit and healthy try not to worry but speak to your care provider they WILL reassure you
good luck and congratulations x x x x

You are 16 and married? Do you talk to your mom about this? This depends on where you are in the world. In 3rd world countries women still die having babies. In Developed countries, SOME still do. Not near as many. If you are really concerned, do discuss this with your doctor. You have been to the doctor, haven't you? If not.... GO. As for 16 and 17 year ODs answering your questions..... how many of them have had babies? If they have, do you think they really know much?? If they knew anything at all they would have kept themselves from getting pregnant in the first place.

I was 17 when I had my first. It didn't really dawn on me that I was going to have to have her until I was in labor. I went through labor, almost an emergency c-section and we are both great. She is a healthy, happy 8 year old now. You will be fine. Good luck and congrats

The percentage of woman dying from having a baby is slim. I had my first at 17 and he was born with no complications. Just don't stress on it. I'm sure it will be easier than you think.

Say this positive affirmation to eliminate your fear "My baby and I are healthy on all levels. I am strong. I am able to give birth easily. I am at peace with myself"
Say this positive affirmation on a daily basis. Your mind is very powerful. If you think negative, your body will react negatively. If you think positive, everything will be all right. That's why you say affirmation.

Well okay if you feel that way you need to talk to your doctor and see what precautions you can take so nothing goes in that direction okay? Just make sure that you stay healthy during this pregnancy and things should be fine

The truth is that the younger you are, the more risk there is. How are you out of school? Did you drop out? If so, that's not out of school. Out of school means graduating. How much money can you possibly make to afford a child. The first year costs about $20,000 alone.
