Yes , beacause we give of CO2 and thats wat plants need to grow. So when you talk to exhale CO2 and it goes to the plant and the plants grows..kool huh..lol

People with so called green thumbs always talk to their plants, there have been studies that show, they also like mellow music and hate rock and roll. Just for fun you could take two african violets. Talk to one and wash and stroke it's leaves, leave the other alone. The one talked to and touched will grown faster and bloom more.

Who really knows at the end of the day if you feel comfortable talking to them go for it, I grow all my own plants and have never talked to them and I get fantastic results.

No, because plants are not conscious (that is, they do not know that they even exist, nor do they have memories.) So talk to them if you want, but it won't have any effect whatsoever.

No, you need to give them alot of sunlight and water for them to grow. I don't think talking to them makes any difference whatsoever.

Yes they do, it was discovered years ago that our breath generates growth in plants, you have to be rather close to them, words are not enough.

If they were listening to my missus they would grow at an alarming rate, so they could uproot and run like hell!
