When you decided you wanted to answer Yahoo questions, how did you go about putting your name and picture on?

Only it was automatically decided I was Jane B by Yahoo. The thing is B is the first letter of my surname but it doesnt appear anywhere on my email address. So how did Yahoo know what to call me?
