What makes you happy in life? and Why?

Being at home on a rainy weekend with my wife; with the curtains closed, the door locked, the phone off the hook, dressed in pajamas and watching our favorite sci-fi movies! After a grueling week at work, the why speaks for itself.

I'm happy after a hard days work, and when I know I have been productive and got things done. I'm was also happy at a time when I was working as a computer tutor for kids and adults. It was fun interacting with them and teaching them. I guess I was happy because it was fulfilling and I was making a difference in the world. There was a purpose in life.
I realise I'm also very happy and contented when I wake up in the morning lying next to a guy in bed. It must be instinct or human nature thing.
I'm also happy when I go on vacation, and when I think "wow I'm so glad I'm here looking at the nice scenery with these nice people, instead of being stuck in the office". I think being thankful makes me happy.
I'm also happy being alone by myself, but I'm wondering whether being too contented with what I have is bad.

Happiness is just the peace of mind that you know even when things go wrong, that eventually everything will turn out for the best. Watching my son grow little by little makes me the happiest.

When I follow my heart and go after it. And knowing that my actions have benefited not only myself but also my loved ones. That's happiness, to me.

happiness to me is satisfaction because I could have everything possible but if I'm not satisfied than where is the happiness in that??
