there we are another idea.If we carry on with these moronic minging ideas soon we will have labels saying Don't eat this or you will die.What a stupid Nanny state we live in Drive slowly in the fog .weather forecasters telling you get your coat on need you brolly dangerous driving conditions cause its windy and wet .It goes ON and on and on.We are all being treated like Timothy in that TV program called sorry .starred Ronnie Corbett .Will the people ever be trusted to look after themselves I fear not.when the tin say's red stop Traffic lights what next Idiots in a big bag

Yeah, as if the labels are not confusing enough now - personally I prefer the traffic light system.

But the UK is going crazy with health warning labels - they are even talking about putting warning labels on large size clothes...

I would prefer getting back to reasonable serving sizes. When labels were changed in the states about a decade ago it was for the purpose of eliminating stupid serving amounts like the bag of chips that served "5 and 1/3rd" people.

Food makers are getting back to that crap where they say a 16 oz can of soda has two servings in it. Riiiiiight. Who cracks a can of pop and then only drink half?

I'd like to see labels that have percentages of daily values for 1500, 2000, 2500, and 3000 calorie diets. I'd also like to see red, yellow, and green indicators on packages that denote junk food, "healthy" food and in between stuff.

Nobody want to know the science, we just want to know what's got a lot of salt/sugar in it and what hasn't.- this doesn't mean we won't buy red labelled food ever again, it just means we won't buy so much of it.
