D is correct.

Answer A does not need a comma at all.

B is two separate complete clauses that would need to be either separated with a semicolon, a comma and and, or making them two different sentences.

C is also two separate clauses, fixed the same way.

D is correct because it is not too separate clauses.

The others should be written as follows:

D. word how in A, there is not any comma keeping apart the rates from something of the sentence. B, the author would not elect rates around his call, only the artwork. C. No close rates.

I would say C.
I would say also that A, & D have comma splices.
D would sound better if I was written
I wouldn't have missed the opening act if I had arrived earlier.
B needs a semicolon.
