He makes too many mistakes and that image isn't going to go away until he proves differently on the football field.
I like Grossman...He's ok...He will get better if given time but the time to win a Super Bowl may be NOW!
Grossman needs to play over his head these next few weeks to get the Bears to the SB

Rex Grossman is a rookie or sophomore at best.
This is his 4th season, but in his first 3 he only played 8 games TOTAL.
He was inconsistent this year. That is exactly how a rookie plays - hot, then cold.
Statistically speaking, he had a better season this year then Favre did in any of his first 3 seasons. Remember, this is Grossman's first full season and only 8 games played prior to this season.
Just for the record, I am a Packers fan. That's right...the archrivals of the Bears. I am a Favre apologist as well...he can do no wrong.
That being said, I think Rex has a bright future if he can get another year under his belt as starter in Chicago.

Rex Grossman....I don't think you can judge him like a normal player. He has to be the worst quarterback ever to play on a good football team. In the last game, he had 4 complete passes in the first half....two of those went to the other team.

Well he actually isn't really good. He makes poor decisions, lots of interceptions, poor passing. He should learn from QBs like Tom Brady if he ever wants to win a Super Bowl. Even the rookies like Matt Leinart, Phillip Rivers and Vince Young are far far better than Grossman. Bears defense is simply stunning and intimidating, but they can't keep covering Grossman's mistakes forever.

As a bears fan we can't afford Rex Grossman to throw interception in the playoffs. In the regular season games Rex Grossman has just been throwing the ball in the air up for grabs. We can't see those mistakes in the playoffs. For example that cowboys vs seahawks game. Tony Romo blue the game cause he couldn't keep his hand on the ball for a field goal. Mistakes like that can cause a team pain. Check my yahoo 360 page for bears fans.

What kind of ************ question is this? Did you mean to say "Why DO people think Rex Grossman is not a good qb?" The way it is worded one would have to conclude that your question is "why do people think Rex Grossman is good?" In any case he sucks ya. A few 0.0 qb ratings will give you that reputation.

The stats don't lie. He's only the 24th highest rated quarterback in
the NFL. There are 32 teams, so among starting quarterbacks,
he's among the bottom half. Jealousy has nothing to do with it,
his stats have everything to do with it. The stats proves the Bears
are winning football games in spite of him. Imagine if the Bears
had an average starting quarterback, instead of a relatively mediocre one.

Ya I am jealous of Rex Grossman. I have always wanted to suck it up on national tv numerous weeks in a row and have qb ratings below 10.

no one would like to be rex grossman because he is an overrated player that in real life is really bad. look at his stats against all the teams that the bears played against that had a losing record, he sucked during those games and the whole season.

Dude I am a Bears fan for about 40 years IF we had a good QB we would be like the 85 Bears right now we are where we are cause of the D not cause of Rexer....he is a back up anyplace else..I mean anyplace else with a top notch QB like Pats or Eagles{McNabb}, or Colts Rex sucs he should be with the clip board and Greise who is a back up anyplace I mentioned before should lead them on...Lovey Smith isa a great coach...he does not want to mess with what got him there so far but watch he will yank his *** the first Int he, Rex throws............GO BEARS
