Just in case this helps, I'm a sophomore in high school. So there's this guy that's really immature and he's pestered me for about 3 years. He was sitting in a desk facing me and he started opening and closing his legs really fast. I think he was doing it to try and get my attention, since I don't look at him anymore, I try my best to ignore him. It might sound silly, but it really made me uncomfortable so I was wondering if that might be considered sexual harassment. He has verbally sexually harassed me in the past about 6 or 7 times, even though I've made it clear that I've never wanted to have anything to do with him. He also made this hand gesture the other day to get my attention that made me sort of comfortable as well. Should I report him again? thanks!

I would tell him that he offends you and that you would appreciate it if he would stop. If he doesn't stop - report him. Make sure there is a witness when you tell him.

I don't believe reporting him will help as it will make him the victim. It might be best to take this issue in front of the class, with the teacher and possibly your parents present, in an adult manner. No screaming, no crying, no chaos. Just simply tell him, in front of everyone, that you are not interested and that his behavior is annoying. The trick will be the question you will have to ask him and he MUST respond. DO YOU UNDERSTAND? You will have to look into his eyes and hold his attention so that he will get the message. When you ask the question, be patient, kind and FIRM. Let him know that it's not okay and his behavior is to cease. If this doesn't work then you might consider the police as the young man may be dangerous.

I guess if it is bothering you that bad you should tell the principle. It all sounds to me just like typical high school immaturity. I am 32 years old and by the sounds of things school hasn't changed at all. I am sure this won't be the last guy that acts this way to you or any other girl. Guys at your age are very very immature while us girls have matured a bit. Honestly you shouldn't let his immaturity bother you so bad. You also might try beating him at his own game. I know what your thinking " I'm to mature for that " Fight fire with fire make him go home crying to his momma.

Don't stop reporting him until he gets the picture that you are not going to tolerate his behavior towards you.

Yes please. Report this to the authority.

Plus, please keep your parents in the loop. And your close friends too, just in case he rape you.

Once, my female class mate came to me and another guy, we went over to warn him, and it never did happened again.

Do something. Shame him. He is just a bully, and if you remain silence, he will advance to the other stage.
