With the box sets being cheaper and which have been out fgor ages so that Charmed fans would of already bought them etc...

yes my daughter loves charmed but no way am i going to pay £7.99 per one

These sort of magazines always seem to turn up this time of year with something free. They also come cheap the first issue and the only way you can get the rest of the magazines is by subscribing since the shops seem to stop selling them after the first couple of issues.
The magazine is normally poor quality and there has already been a Charmed magazine out which I think has stopped now because the series has stopped/slowed down. Not too sure.
The boxsets are the best bet to get if someone wants the episode.
In other words, total rip off.

As someone else also mentioned these magazines start up just after christmas. The first ones are cheap then they go to normal inflated price and then eventually you will find them more and more difficult to obtain which is a nuisance if you are collecting a set. If you are lucky enough to collect the whole set just work out how much it has cost you! Expensive or what?

All of these stupid magazines start up at this time of year. A couple of years ago I wanted to get one which issue by issue gave you the materials to build a model boat or something like that I can't really remember. At the bottom of the ad it said there was something like 120 issues before the boat would be complete. My mum worked it out that it was something like £7 an issue, and that came to a grand total of about £840. To make a model boat. That kind of put me off.

No-one is forcing you to buy them!
They've done this with Star Trek, Only Fools And Horses, and countless others. It's a rip off, and the magazine is always shite.

it is abit of a rip off. charmed already have an offical magazine, I'venever seen it anywhere but havent really looked either, boxsets much cheaper.

It always happens at the beginning of the year. All these sets what u can collect and all of them are rip-offs.

rip off even if u subscribe you wont get the free gifts and then the mags will just stop coming and they will just tell you there is not enuf intrest to keep it viable only to see it relaunched 18 months later
