BTW i would like to see an american footballer play rugby and watch him get his teeth knocked out

Let me point out i hate rugby i just use it to compare because its similar to american football.
Maybe its not a question but just something for people who have never seen football ( soccer ) outside the US to see what the best in the world can do with a ball at there feet
Also i dont hate american football i just dont think its anywhere near as good as soccer becuase you americans make it sound like its the most amazing thing ever to hit this earth when very few actually agree with you. I enjoy Maden NFL and occasionally watching the late night NFL games at 3am in the morning when i cant be bothered going to bed

Maybe someone should upload a video of the best the NFL has to offer because to be honest its the millions of stoppages that annoys most people

My kids played soccer for years I love the game of soccer Ialso love the hits in American Football but Euro Football{Soccer} is a great sport thanks for those clips they were awsome I saw some ol Pele in there too he single handly brought "Soccer" to USA in the early 70's

Well, you're back again...

...I never said I didn't like "soccer". As a matter of fact, I followed the EPL for a few years and am a huge World Cup fan. I also love the NFL though.

I've seen some amazing skill on the ball from guys like Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Owen, Beckham, Henry... shots from 40 yards out from Gerrard, headers from Zidane (one of them quite infamous). They're great plays, but you can't compare world football to American football, they're just not even close to the same types of sports.

Enough with the rugby, already. There's like a whole 12 people in the world that watch it.

Was this even a question, or one more opportunity to rant about how much you hate American football and how much you love futbol?

Why do you let it get to you? People who usually stay stuff like
that aren't usually too bright to begin with. It's because the US
doesn't dominate that sport, and it wasn't invented in the USA,
which is two strikes against that sport in the US sports market,
for the so-called jingoistic fans who associate sports with patriotism. These fans don't realize that it's just athletic competition among paid professionals who do this for their living, and USA isn't at war with other countries. There are US sports fans who do appreciate soccer, or are neutral towards the sport. These fans are probably more intelligent, and are more likely to consume wine, instead of beer, and have more substantial incomes. Rugby beats soccer and US/Canadian/Aussie Rules football, because you need the cardiovascular fitness of a soccer player, but you need the physical strength of a football player. They don't have the padding of a football player either. Rugby is definitely more tough than US/Canadian/Aussie Rules football,
but Aussie Rules football is definitely the most difficult of the three types of football mentioned.

I always liked soccer and have respect for the game. What I have ran into on yahoo a lot is people putting down American football which upsets and angers a lot of people of course. I prefer American football particularly college but soccer is a cool sport too as long if that is what you like. We all just need to learn to have respect for one another.
