Because the government screwed them. They put them into a situation where they can't come home without making the situation worse. Where there was no danger to Americans before the invasion, if we were to bring our troops home now, there would be immense danger.

If the "crime" they devote is complete in uniform and is an instant part of a protection stress action, then "sure" i could believe you. yet while the troop breaks a regulation...distinctly a extreme regulation, i.e., rape, homicide, violence, armed theft, and so on., this is obviously no longer performed decrease than the auspices of the government and, "no," they must be tried decrease than the guidelines of the rustic wherein they dedicated the crime. this is to no longer say the government can not furnish suitable criminal counsel and attempt to apply each and every lawful recourse they could to verify they get a suitable trial and are dealt with humanely, yet being American shouldn't make you immune from procuring against the regulation you devote...anymore than being a foreigner in u . s . of america ought to make you immune from criminal prosecution right here. this is the place the term "grotesque American" got here from.

Any Serviceman or woman serving overseas is doing so in defense of their Country the USA. Today's Service is an all volunteer Force so no one can make a statement that a serviceman or woman was sent against their will. As for myself I am a Veteran and proud of it and proud of every person who serves today.

As a "super power", Americans signed treaties that they would help rebuild countries that needed us, and set up a new form of government before we left, so when they are a semblance of order and the beginnings of a "better" government, our guys get to come home How do I feel about our guys? PROUD and honored that they fight for freedom, justice, and right

gee, i could have sworn there were terrorists out there who were so determined to do Americans harm that they attacked Americans wherever they could find them, including coming here to attack us on our own soil. guess i should not have concluded that from all the "Death to America!" i see certain countries' leaders espousing. they must not really mean it, i suppose.
