What exactly can they smell that men can't, and when ?

Interestingly, pregnant women's sense of smell is really amplified. Must be a protective thing . . .I always smell something burning faster than my husband, or if the dogs need a bath, or if the dogs have messed . . .etc. I can also quickly detect food that has spoiled quicker.

Women can sense things men cant but i wouldn't use the sense of smell. In this case i would say men have the better smells. A women can put certain perfumes(Victoria secret -love spell for example) that contains pheromones on and those pheromones attract men literally. So to answer your question i don't think women can smell better then men.

I like to smell women and I can smell women better then men. How much better? Well I have not used a mans nose in a while so it is hard for me to judge!
Either way.. let my press my nose into the soft fabric of a womans underwear over a mans any day!!
Yes women smell much better.

Well Im sure that when it comes to like perfume, or other beauty products women would be able to smell them before men. But food or drinks and stuff depending on where they are men can smell before women.

Women do have a better sense of smell than men
(not to mention that we generally smell better than men,too) because we have more estrogen. The pregnant woman who said she smells things before her husband does has noticed this affect. It is a natural ability to help women protect their young.

From a Scientific Standpoint the OLFACTORY Nerves of men and women are alike!
Women ARE Better Trained, from little girls to Enhance their Smell FACTORS!
Men usually don't have the time and effort in such areas as they are Doers and Not Smellers!

Each gender has a different sense of smell, for instance men perceive the pheremones that women emit when they are fertile, etc.

Im not too sure, but my nose is sure sharper then my friend's, and ears too. Maybe guy are too busy thinking about other things to concentrate, as we all know, guys can't do 2 things at a same time...
