What's wrong with using the bicycle! It doesn't fart and it's much more compact and environment-friendly as oppsed using a two-horse carriage!

Wow. I just thinking about New York City, LA, Chicago - any of those big cities - rush hour, everybody using horse and carriage. Just don't think it would work. We do need to do what we can, though. Horse and carriage just doesn't seem to be it.

you can't save the environment, it's too polluted. we can only postpone our own demise. commuting by horse and carriage would crumble the economy. ( and the streets would smell bad )

no wouldnt be practical.not everybody knows how to ride a horse,and some are too set with the creature comforts of a/c etc to bother using one.

I duno.....it "sounds" like a good Idea. But I just can't leave my car...I LOVE IT! I street race in it! Imagine this...........Horse Street Racing..lol, Everyone modifiying their horses by injecting Steroids into their legs, haha. Cutting horse hair for aerodynamics and faster quarter mile times....:-P

well I don't think that is going to solve all our environment problems ,think about that factories Like the Cole mines giving out all all the black suet into the air .But I geuss that one way to start .
