If everyone gave what they could, poverty would be practically non-existant or non-existant at all.
I understand some don't have much money to give, but, even $5 would make a difference.
I am currently sponsoring a child in Africa, and I don't come from all that much money.
There are so many millionaires, that are truly not contribuiting the way they should. Is this even human? Can you truly look at the pictures and documentries on the media and not want to help in any way possible? Aren't you touched in some way? - I just want to know what YOU are doing to fight poverty (or another world problem). And what you think of the extreme poverty that exists in this world. P.S: I'm not saying that there aren't people that DO help.

"The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me" (Matthew 26:11)

In all these eons, don't you think we'd be closer to erradicating poverty completely if it was truly possible? Yes, we should continue to try. BUT, it's a lovely myth that the "haves" of the world can erase want, but simply don't try hard enough. It's easy to blame someone. Reality is so much more complex.

Do what you can, and don't poison your own heart by being angry at others. It's absolutely possible that you know someone personally who has given far more than you - silently. Why judge?

Cuz no one actually cares. These r mere banners... do u think they can actually go to the poor country and do stuff? Not at all.

The amount of help that people volunteer is superb... but the condition hasn't been changed of any country. Why? Cuz we are filling up the treasures of government only. Government wont like that to happen either... cuz if some country gets prosperous a day... it may give hard time of any kind. That's the reason there r so many countries suffering from the last century or more... whereas apparently it shows that UN forces r there and all the blah blahs... WHAT THEY CAN'T DO? a million dollar question i.e.

We are afraid of change. government policy is let the ppl suffer in tax and other minor day to day problems, so they think on a certain level only... if they cross that level.. they might create problems.

Tupac had a few famous lines, andas unorthodox as it might seem to many peoples I would like to loosely quote Tupac:

Why should one person win a 30 million Jackpot in America when there a people that are starving, dying and living in poverty not just all over the world but in America alone. Why should there be millionaires when there are people with nothing? Why do celebrities make more than teachers and doctors?

I think poverty exists because people still want it to. There are people that earn sucess off of poverty. When you donate your clothes by throwing them into those beens outside of your grocery store and other places, I bet you didn't know the people who own those bins often sell them to another company who then gives them to a third world country at a price.

To me this is all intertwined mutually. without education you may't prevail in existence to get that pastime that provides you with well being care. without that pastime you may't locate the money for housing and ideal food. We see all of it the time, this is throughout our televisions and all around the country. Why are there those which have more suitable than others? And maximum heavily why do slightly of those those which have more suitable than others come to a decision that we are going to not make contributions to at least something of the global? There has consistently been a conflict between the "HAVES" and the "HAVE NOTS". we stay in a society that not really enables homelessness yet starvation besides, a lifeless ringer for the challenge in Africa. Why are we allowing this to proceed, i don't believe of it truly is very nearly housing, well being care, or education. it truly is about rolling up sleeves and helping those that desire help. even as guidelines are being handed, and communities are amassing mutually to imagine of what to do about those circumstances. Time is ticking and somebody else is lost because there is too a lot attempt and time waisted on planning on what to do next. a lifeless ringer for this usa might want to offer a usa like Iraq thousands and thousands and/or billions of greenbacks, they can provide money to human beings and different international places that were scuffling with poverty for years. i'm not in my opinion attacking each person, yet why are we allowing human beings like Donald Trump, Paris Hilton, and some contributors of our authorities to stay contained in the perfect circumstances, and characteristic a lot money even as there are diverse human beings and little ones suffering and in no way merely in yet another usa, in this usa. i have self assurance that the extremely wealthy must have some guidelines, there might want to not be any reason there are 6.5 million dollar houses and at the same time thousands and thousands of starving human beings. This usa spends money on frivolous issues, and there must be a end to it. it truly is how i have self assurance how poverty might want to end, how can the undesirable dig themselves out of a hollow which will in no way bypass away?

Why is it so difficult for everyone to contribute in fighting poverty?

The reason is inherent in your question. Contributing is a voluntary action. In order for everyone to do a given act, it can't be voluntary.

Whether it's putting a few bucks in the Salvation Army bucket or the change in the fireman's boot it's a voluntary action. I contribute what I can, when I can, although usually to individuals so I KNOW where the money's going.

America(citizens) is one of the most generous nations on earth. People give and give, it is really fustrating when what you give, do not reach the people it is intended for. You donate a dollar and are lucky if 10cents goes to the ones without. Even the most reputable of charities do not give every penny to the poor. Tons of food is sent overseas to feed the poor. It is suppose to be given to the people, instead it is stolen by crooks and sold to the people. Sometimes even stolen by the government. I don't mind giving but I want my donation to go where I intended it to be.

Because those with money would rather contribute to tobacco and alcohol companies...

Because government loves to stay in power keeping the poor one step away from success...
