I bought a bradley smoker. The ad says it will reach 320 degrees F but it has a saftey cut-off that trips at 250 degrees F. It is canadian company and I have already tried BBB

Threaten them with false advertisement. I'm not sure if you have tried to talk nicely to them and explain you would simply like either your money back or what they promised but you can try that first.

sometimes in the matter of adds you cannot take serious actions, because in the BUSINESS LAW its stated that companies can advertise anything (legal) to make the customer buy it!

Even if u file a case, the company can point out this & *** out of it!

This is my opinion.

Well the best way to prevent this is, USE YOUR OWN BRAINS than trust stupid advertisements, not barking at you, but most of the people make this mistake. First you check the stuff & ask him to give a warranty, then buy it!

YOU know, no company can break a TRUE warranty!

BE CAREFUL......... choose, CHECK & buy!

Tell the company that the ad doesn't say what the item is supposed to do and that you won't use the item anymore unless they fix the problem. Also to ensure that, send the item back.
