I'm able to keep my Ensure drinks down so I know he is getting the nutrients that he needs, but is my throwing up effecting him? It seems like it would since my stomach is contracting together and seemingly putting pressure on him.

I got so sick when i was prego.. Vomiting for a solid week, fever, everything that indicated the flu.. It ended up being a very nasty bladder infection. I'd say go make sure it is just a "bug".. Other than that, the actual effect of vomiting won't affect your baby as long as you don't get dehydrated and your baby does get ample nutrients. If a baby can handle labor and coming out that tiny hole, I'm sure he can handle almost anything..lol Take your vitamins!! Congrats on the pregnancy.

With my first pregnancy I was sick everything from 5 weeks, food and drink. I stopped being sick on the day I delivered. You and your baby will be fine. Is it definitely a stomach bug though because some early stages of labour is vomiting and diarrhoea. I delivered my daughter at 36 +4.

u drinking ensure when ur sick is awful on your stomach.......it will make it SOUR......DRINK PLENTY OF WATER......YOUR BABY IS FINE MOST WOMAN GET VERY SICK TOWARDS THE END OF PREGNANCY.....I HAVE HAD 3 CHILDREN AND ALL 3 I DID THE SAME THING.......DON'T DRINK ENSURE WATER..WATER...WATER...OR GINGER AL....HAVE UR DR. CALL IN SOME PHENEGAN GOOD LUCK

As long as your throwing up isn't real severe you baby is just fine.

He's surrounded by fluid. You can't compress a fluid, so no worries.
