I'm talking about those free downloadable trailers, they are legally free downloadable, but do I have to pay for them when sowing them on TV.

I am a broadcaster.

If you can find a licence with the downloadable file, or on the webpage where it is distributed, please post it.

But generally, it is publicity, so it is in the benefit of the creators of the movie. Unless you broadcast this trailer and add a very negative comment or feeling in relation to this trailer, they will not be able to sew you I guess. Because you need an interest to sew someone. If the company is not benefitted in any way by the removal of the trailer off your tv broadcast, they cannot sew you.

If you put a negative image on the company, they will be able to sew you. Because they have copyright laws on the trailer and sensu stricto you are not able to do anything with that trailer unless you have their permission (on to which they can attach terms, such as payment)

[edit] I'm just thinking that they might want to ask money for broadcasting the trailer, though it is publicity in their benefit if you broadcast it... It is their copyright, they have that right :/ You better ask the producer if you can broadcast it... [/edit]

As a broadcaster you know everything is protected by copyright law and also many trailers that are on the net unless stated, but usually big companies, do you not allow one to show their products or trailers to a wide audience. You can show 20 to 30 seconds, and that is legal but not the whole clips usually unless you seek permission. As a broadcaster, you have access to these clips if you ask the companies themselves, and all they ask if for your company /tv station address and what channels they are shown on and so forth. Pretty easy stuff. Good luck.

Yes, you must get permission, because the trailer is copyrighted.
