At what age, if at all, did your reproductive organs first secrete semen. Do you sometimes find it annoying when you don't want it to come? Is it safe to wipe it with a clean towel, if you don't want it?

It all started for me when I was about 10 years old. I used to get nightime erections and have wet dreams without understanding what was going on. I soon found that I ejaculated semen in my bedsheets almost every night, even when I didn't try. At first it embarrassed me because I thought my mother would be mad at me. I tried to clean it up with a damp towel and then dry it off, but it always stayed damp too long. Yes it's "safe" to wipe it with a towel, clean or not. I never really found it annoying, I was just self-conscious of it. One afternoon, my mother sat down with me and mentioned my "damp spots". I thought that I would die until she surprised me by using that as a great opportunity to talk about growing up. She never made me feel embarrassed about erections, wet dreams, or ejaculating. She put a clean hand towel on my nightstand and a box of Kleenex. I could either use the towel to catch the ejaculate or to clean up any mess, or I could use a few of the Kleenexes and throw them in my trash can next to my desk. If I used the towel, she just washed it with the laundry and never said a word about it again. Pretty cool.

I was 13. I had a wet dream and I was so scared and I felt guilty. What happened was that I woke up and some semen was still coming out. I used toilet paper to get rid of it, but more was coming and it didn't stop until the afternoon. It is really annoying when it comes out when I don't want it to. It feels disgusting and you feel a wetness around your pubic area. I finally mustered enough courage to talk to about it to my dad, and he told me about puberty and what he went through. I also had a question about my penis and he looked at it and said it was fine. Throughout that talk, I had an erection and since I was getting excited, semen began to come out a bit. I told my dad and told me what to do in a situation like this. He gave me towels and everything was fine. Now whenever I have a question, I go to my dad. Also because of this talk, we are comfortable to see each other naked and are not ashamed at all. Since then, I've had only one wet dream (the semen had all dried up, though) and one other time when I woke up there was a small patch of dried semen.

Yes, its alright to clean up using a towel. Just make sure to wash it.

Well, I was going to ask my husband for you until I got to the last question. Yes, it is safe to wipe it with a clean towel if you don't want it. It's even safe to wipe it with a clean towel if you DID want it.
My husband believes he was about 13 when this started. He did not find it annoying. He did, however, find it embarrassing to get an erection at inopportune times.

The lady who's answered first is so helpful and she's given a very nice answer. I recommend you to award the points to her, although, I want my answer to be the best.

I experienced it when I was 14. I didn't find it annoying, though. Yes, it's safe to wipe it with a towel.

How would you know? Male teenagers get wet dreams, and wet dreams happen when you sleep! You don't feel anything when u sleep except if it's strong.
