i downloaded a video clip of saddam's execution, but when i played it with media player it showed an error "cannot recognise the codec.............." and when i tried av rack and winamp they failed to play it. i have winamp v5.3. anyone please suggest something. i need an answer which ask for downloading any program not too long. (less than 500 kb)

Be careful. Go to www.divx.com and DL codecs, but don't DL them anywhere but from there. You can get viruses easily that way...the video might be a fake.

vlc media player will play it, just google vlc media player for the free download.

go to divx.com and download the codecs they have there....good luck....effin saddam...
