I am moving from Upstate NY to LA in 5 weeks and I am not really a glam girl. People here are telling me that I need to change my style a bit and become a little more "glam" is that necessary?

I've never been there, but that just sounds ridiculous.
I know a lot of LA is made of silicone, but if that's not your scene, don't dabble with it. I'm sure there's lots of natural beautys walking around LA who could care less about what plastic people are thinking.
But, maybe it wouldn't hurt to glam up if YOU'RE interested in it. I personally like to switch things up every now and then. It's fun. I do it within reason of who I am and never stray from that quality. Somedays I'll go natural, maybe the next week I'll go out with smoky eyes and a great pair of heels.

No. It is not necessary to change to go to LA.

Take LA some good morals, good judgments, decent clothing, wear underwear, learn to smile without a smerk, get GD taking out of the movies because they don't know how to make movies without calling God's name in vain.

Don't change for LA. Change LA.

It is for the people that make it that way, LA can be anything you want it to be

I would stay "glam" not "more glam". Inless you want to get more glam go for it. Only if you want to be.

Decide when you get there. Don't let people tell you what to do. Make your own decisions.
