Is it possible for United Nations alone to solve the scientific backwaerdness and abject poverty in Afrca?

I mean the poverty level in the subsahara Africa is assuming an alarming situation, countries like sudan, Ethiopia, Liberia Eritria, Niger and Chad are strucken by poverty, hunger and related deaths. the UN seems incapable of handlingh the situation alone. Is it possible for the world rich people to step in and ameloriate the situation, if not totally eradicated, is UN alone capable?

The UN is too corrupt and has been under Kofi Annan for years! Now it is being taken over by his henchmen and is bound to remain corrupt! The UN will never be able to solve anything until its focus is on something beside lining Kofi and friends pockets and get over its Death to America viewpoint. Name one thing the UN has ever solved?

No it's not. It's not an African problem or a UN problem; it's a world problem. We are all part of one race - the HUMAN race. If we see a homeless guy on the street asking for change, most of us would walk right by him. We can't just turn a blind eye to this stuff anymore. So I'm challenging you and everyone who reads this to try a little experiment: gather 10 of your friends or coworkers, and each put $10 in the pot. I don't believe the UN can solve anything on its own..
The UN has become a useless worthless corrupt bureaucratic
tool of 3rd world nations of the same ilk...
I also don't believe anything can be done to save Africa from itself.

THE ONLY THING THAT THE UNITED NATIONS HAS SOLVED IS HOW TO STEAL MILLIONS OF DOLLARS FROM THE UNITED STATES, ENGLAND, AND OTHER COUNTRIES THAT PAY LARGE AMOUNTS IN DUES TO THE U.N. THE U.N. NEEDS TO BE DISBANDED.
