I wish there was a play off system in college. The best teams occasionally have bad games and it completely takes them out of the running for the championship. Additionally you have teams like Boise State that win all their games and still don't get a chance. I also think that college football would be more competitive throughout the season for teams looking for the playoff spots.

there'll continuously be this smack communicate till they arise with a playoff device making use of the bowls. they might desire to take the suitable 8 situations (10 at maximum) and use the money bowls for around Robin removal till they get a Superbowl type experience up. Alabama overwhelmed Miami 34-13 in 1993. If that's not a actual national champion i don't understand what's. you will continuously have naysayers even with the indisputable fact that till they make the polls precursor to an actual playoff.

Yea because every year at least one of the top 5 teams gets screwed, then to throw in the fact that USC played so well after losing to UCLA, this year there were a ton of teams that deserved a shot at the title, certainly enough to round out a playoff. Ohio State, Florida, Michigan, LSU, Wisconsin, Arkansas, Boise State, USC, theres an 8 team playoff right there, and you could argue for oklahoma etc.

Well yes and no, Let's look at in favor of, you would have a true champion that won on the field. Let's look at against, first off you still will have teams left out, same as basketball, someone is left out of the 65 team playoffs, so who get's to play. (2) The bowl games reward the fans as well as the players, so who goes to what bowl, at what time Dec. or Jan. When you take a close look at it, I don't like a playoff. Sorry!

Yes...It is done at every other level and should be done in D1.

There is too much money involved right now so don't look for that to happen in the near future...It will take people who know what is best for the game to step up and effect the changes that need to be made...Till those people are in a place to make the changes though, it won't happen...We sure don't have those people making decisions now.

As long as money is the overriding factor to the A/D's, we won't have the playoff that almost everyone else in America is clamoring for.

I'm not infavor of a playoff

well only if there are more than one undefeated team
so basically a playoff of undefeated teams

I acutally like the fact that teams should strive to be perfect
I think that there is no excuse for losing
and every undefeated team should have a chance to show they are the best team in the country

Definitely a playoff system of some sort...

The BCS is complete BS. This is the most obvious decision I've ever seen put off for so long...Many similarities to the Iraq situation if you ask me...

Look at BSU. They haven't lost. They should keep going until they have lost or on the top.
