If a decent amount of people get pregnant while taking birth control and don't realize it until a few months in, does the birth control dull the signs of pregnancy? Or are these just people who wouldn't have had any symptoms anyway?

I am not asking because I am trying to hide a pregnancy or because I think I am pregnant. Just wondering because I've been reading a lot of answers from people that say they didn't realize they were pregnant when they were on the pill.

No, you'll still experience any symptoms whether you're on BC or not. The people who don't realize may be people who attribute their signs to something else, or, as you said, simply wouldn't have typical symptoms anyway.

Not that I know of, but it can do significant damage to the baby. If you know you're pregnant and want to hide it from someone, don't try taking birth control.... Especially if you want a healthy child.. Just don't do it...

Well when my mom was pregnant with my sister just under me she was on birthcontrol until she was 5 months and had no idea she was pregnant until she when for a regular doctors visit they immediatly stopped the birthcontrol but my sister was perfectly healthy my youngest sister also got pregnant while on the shot and her daughter is healthy andvery advanced for her age but I think it effects every woman differently and yes sometimes it causes damage to the child but less often then you would believe.

Taking birth control pills during pregnancy can cause bleeding during the off week when the hormone level drops.
