Sorry to disappoint you but, David R. Lombardy was not in a band. What Dave was, and still is, is an actor and playwrite. A good one at that. Dave opened his first Sub shop back in 1997 and since has been working on opening more around the US and currently offers franchise. For more information on this, see the source.
As for the mistaken Slayer information, the drummer for Slayer is Dave Lambardo with an O. Hope this helped a little.

ummm the dave matthews band is the only band i know of with a guy named dave. check him out im pretty sure thats the one youre looking for.
