Pluto has not changed. It's the same planet it's always been. However, recently scientists have demoted it to a "dwarf planet." They've discovered that there are larger entities in the solar system., like Eris, which was discovered in 2005. In 2006, the IAU (International Astronomical Union) revised their criteria on how to define a planet. Pluto didn't fit one of the criteria, and so it is now called a "dwarf planet."
It really doesn't change anything. Pluto's mythology and astrological significance will always be known, as Western astrology has based much emphasis on Pluto (the planet that rules Scorpio).
It's interesting that this debate has been occurring around Pluto, considering it is the planet that, astrologically, is the symbol of transformation and rebirth.

Pluto itself didn't changed. Scientists got new info on it and their views on Pluto changed, so they no longer consider it a planet.

Pluto hasn't changed, The powers that be have deemed it not to be a planet because of its size. it's more of a moon than a planet.

No, it's still there. They just changed the definition of a planet, and pluto doesen't fit that definition so it's still there just not a planet.

no, it hasn't changed, they just now realize it's not that big and therefore called it a different name - a "dwarf planet"
