We are married, very happy, and proclaim ourselves to be straight; however, we like to watch movies with a drag queen theme and gay theme, i.e., Brokeback Mountain, Birdcage, To Wong Foo, etc. We do not declare ourselves as bisexuals, but if we see somebody handsome or pretty, we will discuss among ourselves on that person's positive physical attributes, no wonder what their gender, because we see everyone as human, not by gender. We also want to go to a drag queen club to see a show. We also hope Leonid the Magnificent goes on a tour so we can see him. Also, we are Christians but not haters like most of the LBGT community would assume us to be; in fact, we are actively trying to find a church that does not discriminate against the LBGT community. We are also social nudists (nothing sexual about it -- we just go to AANR-certified clubs).

Hopefully you are learning that 'GAY' is not only about who we have sex with, but also about the fact that we have lives and hopes and dreams and defeats, just like everyone else.

You might google 'metro-sexual' which is a marketing term to describe a demographic sector of folks who share your perspective. these folks tend to be straight, have gay friends, and have higher levels of education, income, and leisure tastes and time.

There are many churches which affirm gay people. In fact, one of the largest denominations in America, UCC, has gay ministers and members. Other gay-friendly include Unity School of Christianity, Unitarians, Quakers, many Episcopal, many independent Baptists, and many Disciples of Christ congregations.

There are lots of fun films to rent which have drag queens these days - one of the funniest is Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

You could just be interested in the culture. Most of the time, people in society make it hard or lead you to belive that its wrong to be interested in something that they belive is unethical.its not wrong for you two to want to watch a GLBT movie and actually be interested in the plot, not the sexual theme. Its okay for you two to go to a drag so and applaud the performers.Belive me,its not only Gay and Lesbian people fighting for gay and lesbian rights.A lot of heterosexuals are fighting for the same cause.Think about it,Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt said that they do not feel comfortable getting married in a a society that does not allow all people to marry.Charlize Therron expressed the same views.Cher and a lot of other performers have a predominately gay audience, and they still perform.Don't be ashamed that you love the culture because like you said, you don't see gender, you see people. If they're were more people out there like that, this world would be a much better place for everyone.

We all are drawn, either openly or secretly, to the exotic, the different, and find it fascinating and exciting--and in these cases sexy and a turn-on. :)

We are all 50% male and 50% female. Maybe that helps to make us what we are as well?
