Canada.
Lots of wide open spaces, strict gun laws, great health care system.
We have never declared war on any country nor has any country declared war on us. We are generally looked upon by other countries as a helpful and peaceful country (which we are).
We're a clean country, we're polite, we have very diverse ethnic groups happily living in peace here. A good education system, no shortage of water, electricity. We have a lot of natural resources such as oil (3rd largest reserve in the world), natural gas, timber, coal. Lots of fishing, hiking, skiing, golfing and access to both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.
There's more good stuff but I'll just leave it at that for now.

Australia. It's the only country where you earn crap money, pay huge tax, massive interest on loans and high living costs to leave you with a big F**K ALL at the end of the week so you can't enjoy yourself.
Excellent huh?

I just heard the results of a poll on the radio. Ireland was actually voted the best country to live in, based on Govt, healthcare, costs of living etc.

Norway wins hands down, has a great medical program, good paying jobs, freedom, and tops out a #1 on international surveys year after year. I've never been there but have read all this on-line a variety of times

Canada..
Lower crime, less guns, decent weather, beautiful country, friendly people, lower cost of living, free health care (not the greatest, but it's free), good eduation and standard of living... AND "most" Canadians are very tolerant of others no matter what the religion or color..

I lived in Ireland for a time, and I loved it......full of dreams, me.....it's a place where faerie tales are alive and where people are laid back and real....someday I will return and stay for good to live out the rest of my days there.....
