I am not from Greece nor am I Greek but when I was a girl I fantasized all the time I was Greek, I'm originally an Italian girl with a little dutch and a little Irish and Norwegian --- yikes what a mix and although I'm extremely proud of my Italian heritage- not so much the Norwegian :\
I've got a bad bad bad bad fetish for Greek boys - my granddaddy did say and I swear I still remember this from when I was like 2 "Staci, you don't have sex till you are married- and you don't have to marry an Italian boy, you can marry a Greek ... it's close enough just no sex till you are married."
And I have to say- I'm stickin with him on that. All I've ever dated was men who were Greek, ok 1 who was not Greek but he was trash .... so I'm a little prejudice so what. :\

I've never gone to Greece - but will soon and yes I will marry a Greek. It doesn't get better then a strong tall handsome Greek man :)

London is breathtaking! But I by far prefer Greece.

I am from N.Y., but my parents are both from Greece. I go to Greece every summer... not only because 90% of my relatives there, but because I love to travel around Greece. Every year I can't wait to go back and visit. I have been all over greece.

Some of the places include : Athena, Thessaloniki, Larisa, Volo, Kalampaka, Trikala, Igomenitsa, Kamena Vourla, Arta, Gianenna, Grevena, Patra, Kalavrita, Pirgo Ilias, Korintho, Epidavro, Sounio, Delphi, Olympia, Kerkyra, Zakintho, Ithaci, Paxous, Antipaxous, Kefalonia, Kriti (all 4 nomous), Santorini, Limno, Mitilini, Tino, Siro, Paro, Naxo... and the list keeps growing every year.

I have no one favorite place, that's why I can never stay in a place for over one week. There are many places I want to go that I haven't been to yet: Kalamata, Rhodos, Alexandroupoli, Karpatho, Mikono...

Even though many places, including resturaunts and kafenia, over price there stuff when they see tourists, I usually get away with being from Kalampaka. Having grown up with GREEK parents and speeking only in GREEK exw mathei na milaw poli kala ellinika.

AAA... kai poios ksexnaei First class podosfero. Kathe fora pou gnorizw kainouria atoma i proti erotisi tous einai ti omada eisai. (Gavros, OSFP, Thyra 7, Olympiakos 4 Life) Kai meta den gineta na min malosoume gia pia omada einai kaliteri.

In conclusion, Greece is amazing and everyone should go, because whoever does go is missing out on the beauty of the islands (and scenery in general), the rich ancient culture, and memories that last a lifetime.... for crying out loud Greece's tourism slogan is "LIVE YOUR MYTH IN GREECE." and i have lived many.

I have been on two very good holidays to Greece, Syros and Paxos, excellent memories, plus Jason and the Argonauts is my favourite film, plus I got Greece in the sweep for the last Euro Soccer Championship which they won!

I love it, beautiful beaches, islands, history, food and the people are amazing-kind and hospitable. I visited their for the first time in August,1985. I've been back 17 times since and I'm going again in a month, it was the trip of a lifetime and the friends I met in 1985 and I are still friends. Athens is nice but Thessaloniki is my favorite city.

Not been to mainland Greece but have been to Rhodes and was impressed. People are nice and it's one of my goals to visit Athens as I have a keen interest in Classical History.

I am from Greece too!!!!I love my country of course. My nickname confirms the above sentence!
It needs a wind of change buddy!
I will dedicate you some lyrics from "Kalimera Ellada" Of Going Through.
======
Sorry Greece,if you want me to change my mind
you should also learn to love.
Stop torturing and laughing at me
and my dreams,Greece,don't dispel!

P.S.Is Pockettwo trying to say "Oles oi ginekes ine poutanes=All women are whores"?

Εγω μ'αρρεσουνε ολα τα νισια και εχω πολλους φιλλους στην Κρητη.
I am not Greek and my spelling in your language is poor. Αλλα προσπαθω.
There is some rule about not using alphabets other than Latin on this site so this may get dumped. What is the issue?
