this is the first way
1st - click on your start menu
2nd- click on All Programs
3rd- click on Accessories
4th- click on System tools
5th- click on defragment
this is the second way
1st- Double click on My computer Icon on Desktop
2nd- right click on Local C Drive
3rd-click on the TOOLS tab above
4th- click on defragment

1st open my computer. Choose a Drive (c or d), right clikc and then from the popup menu choose properties. In the new dialog box, go the Tools tab and click on the defragment now.
U might need to check for error (same tab) before doing the defragmentation but if the computer doesnt ask, u wont need to do it.
U also cant defragment the computer all together, u go on drive after drive.

click on the start button > my computer when you see the drive icon for drive c right click it and click on properties. then click on the tools tab then you will see the defragmenter. if the defrag doesn't go all the way through you will need to open scandisk and set it to get rid of the errors automatically. now run defrag again
you should read the help files that come with your computer.

If you use Windows, you can defragment your computer by clicking the START button, then programs, then accessories, then SYSTEM TOOLS, then click DISK DEFRAGMENT
